fun website...

this website is so fun! i've never seen anything quite like it....

some new items...

a small, cozy space

i love our house, don't get me wrong, but sometimes i miss the days of small apartments and zero maintenance. the days when i could clean the whole apartment in two hours. sigh.

the pictures above are of a garage that was turned into a living space. it's a small space, with only 250 square feet, but it's all so tidy and organized...and manageable. click here for a slide show.

an etsy makeover!

my parents bought me a dress form at an antique store, and i've been having so much fun dressing it up and taking pictures! i'm slowly going through all of my old etsy pictures and replacing them with pictures taken on a plain backdrop, using the dress form. i really like how it looks. i hope your monday was swell:)

bikes

as many of you know, up until recently i had a wee bit of a phobia about riding bikes in the city. i grew up riding my bike up and down our driveway and, when i was feeling adventurous, down to the end of our country road and back. i'm happy to report that i have overcome this fear and now enjoy many bike rides around the neighborhood. i especially like to bike to friends' houses, or the meanwhile. i came across these bikes today on design sponge.
any guesses on which one is my favorite...
yup, this one. i LOVE this blood orange color! if you're interested, you can check them out here. they're pretty expensive. i think i'll stick to my garage sale bike for now...maybe i'll just get a new basket or a little bell...happy spring!
