a made this screen-print quite a while ago, and i was going to use it to make a pillow. since my sewing machine is not currently functional, i thought this might be a good use for it. i like how the mustard yellow and red look against the pale grey walls in the dining room. i might just try more embroidery hoops...i think i'm hooked:)

i've been seeing these embroidery hoops popping up all over etsy and my design blogs. i'm still not 100% sure that i love them, but they're growing on me. i've been thinking that it might be time to give it a try. does anyone have any strong opinions one way or the other? i'll post some pics as soon as i do it.
